Dr. Chander Shekhar

Dr Chander Shekhar is an Indian born Orthopedic Surgeon and he is affiliated to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India as a Senior Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery for last 26yrs. He obtained his graduation (MBBS) from LLRM Medical College, Meerut University, in 1979 & did his Masters in Orthopedic Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, Delhi in 1985.
Dr.ChanderShekhar is a leading Senior Orthopedic Surgeon practising as a senior consultant in orthopedic surgery, Apollo Hospital. He is dealing with all kinds of complex musculo skeletal trauma, joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee, shoulder & ankle joint. He also deals with cases of poliomyelitis(PPRP) & cerebral palsy. He also manages cases with foot and ankle problems. His surgical skills include arthroscopy surgery of the knee & shoulder. He is particularly dealing with osteoporosis and tumors of the bone.
He has attended various national & international conferences & chaired the sessions. He has been a visiting fellow at Plano Sports Centre, Dallas, US(July 2006) & he has attended Advanced PCL Course, ASIA IRCAD_TAIWAN, Lukang, Taiwan(March 2014). He is married to Mrs. Seema Gupta and they have a son & a daughter.
Dr. Chander Shekhar believes in innovative simple solutions to complicated problems in Orthopedic Surgery which are patient friendly and economically viable for the weaker section.
